·  Achieved over 27 years of progressive safety work experience on multiple projects of varying scope and magnitude. Implemented Safety and Health programs for construction projects governed under OSHA regulations as well as projects governed under the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (EM 385-1-1).

 

·  Performed safety and occupational health leadership, management, surveillance, inspections, and safety enforcements. Responsible for the implementation of zero-incident programs and perform assigned duties pursuant to Company, Client, and Project specifications.

 

·  Defended the company in federal courts successfully and repeatedly was instrumental in the negation of claims made against a company. Supervised work crews and procedures, controlled emergency situations and accidents, including multiple persons and fatalities. On projects where I was a site safety manager full time there have been no fatalities or lost time accidents.

 

·  Relationship skills are one of my strongpoints. Working closely with Project Managers and Site Superintendents, I developing individual project safety and health plans, conducting safety orientations and training seminars for both project personnel and the senior leadership teams. Relationships with sub-contractors is exceptionally positive and effective.
